No audio from XHA1

I'm new to Mac and final cut, when I import video to fcp ther is no audio with the videos. What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do it works fine on my PC. GoPro footage works fine. Thanks

are you sure there's even audio on your takes? the record level might have been set to zero or another input engaged with no mic attached, etc.
