Trouble Exporting to h264

Having an issue with exporting from FCP7 - I have a three minute timeline made up of text and video of various formats (photo jpeg, mp4, etc...) The project is taking over two hours to render. I've never had this problem before with some of the same clips in the past (they're from various stock libraries). Any ideas why this would be all of a sudden? Could my settings be wrong? What do others recommend for export settings to h.264?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

You shouldn't be using MPEG-4s in an FCP7 timeline. Slows the system to a crawl. Always convert to a proper intermediate format before editing.

Thank you. Funny, I've done it this way before and did not have that problem. But I will convert each clip before putting into timeline.
