When downloading stock footage from Videoblocks which is better? Am I getting better quality downloading their Jpeg.mov, or am I going to squeeze more out of their mp4, when I transcode it. Or is it going to be pretty much the same Shhhhh-stuff?

IMHO: MP4 is NOT better...unless you don't care about visual quality...it is highly compressed - not a work format. Strictly final delivery - not for transcoding.

When life gives you dilemmas...make dilemmanade.

I know but have you seen what the motion jpeg downloads look like? It looks as if it is mp4, and is just uncompressed for the downstream.

Their stuff seems just suitable for Internet use.
