OS Updates, safe??

I'm running FCP7 on macbook 10.8.2 and keep getting update offers

Is it ok to just accept them, or has anyone has issues continuing with FCP after updating?

Nah, within a few years the whole shebang will be dead and gone. I don't think anyone has the time to make a wiki for it anymore. If anyone has direct experience with what works or not though, we could make a sticky?
