Hello,

Searching for a program that allows for the capture of DVD audio and video into workable quicktime files to edit in FCP. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

MPEG Streamclip is free and used by many pros. Highly recommend it.

Some sort of DVD Ripper can do such works. Handbrake can rip DVD video, but I don't think it can extract DVD audio. But some paid software like Leawo DVD Ripper, Aiseesoft DVD Ripper, etc can rip both DVD video and audio according to their developer.

Both of these pieces of software look like Chinese-based spamware (the awkward names are dead giveaways), the kind made by companies that write glowing reviews for their own products under false names and send out blind spam advertising for their product. The online reviews are abysmal.
