FCP7 Crashing on start

Hi guys,
I have been running FC7 for years. I installed Maverick since it first came without any problems since I don't use manny plug-ins.
I haven't install any software or hardware. I tried opening it today and it just crashes after running all those names at the beginning and then it crashes.
I have trashed the preferences and nothing.
I have to get back to work. Any suggestions?

Reinstall FCP.

Good thing I don't have anything pending. After a divorce and a couple of moves, who know where it is.
I would hate to to move to X.
Any other idea?
