Recreate text titles?

I worked in a 720p sequence for an offline edit and I created my titles using FCP7
text tool at that resolution.

For the online which will be at 1080p, 2k, or perhaps higher, will I need to retype
my titles at the online resolution or can I use my current titles and FCP7 will
scale them without too much degradation.

If the titles are going to look bad in a higher res sequence then I'll need to re do them.
They are basic white on black, no fancy font or effects.

FCP Text objects don't have a set size. When you run Media Manager to create a larger Sequence, the text is supposed to automatically readjust. But if a 2K online is in the running, you really should be creating titles that fit that scale, and FCP7 ain't the place to do it. A simple Illustrator/Photoshop job.

yeah, Media manager will do it as part of it's operation,
or you can just copy / paste them into a different res sequence. FCP will take care of it.
