Two questions - z-axis and uninstall FCP 7

I edit on FCP 7.0.3, using a MacBook Pro, 13-inch, mid-2010, OSX 10.7.5, 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 8gbRAM. My client wants me to edit some shots into the z-axis and I have no idea how to do it. It must be very simple, but I've never needed to do this before. Also - my FCP was loaded from my boss's install disc and I've now purchased my own. How do I uninstall FCP and Compressor, so when I reinstall everything will be properly registered to me?
