Multiclip audio question

Hi guys,

after all these years, I've arrived at Multipclip editing for the first time. Works quite well for video, but I'm having troubles setting up the audio the way I want.

I shot with 3 cams/angles:

C1: has the best audio, useable audio for V1/V2
C2: only reference audio
C3: partly usable audio for V3, otherwise also use A1

So I'd like to set it up so I can link V2 with A1 always (I don't need A2 ever).

V3 needs to be able to switch between A1 and A3, altough in a pinch I could get away with just A1 and smooth level differences with mixing.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Stefan

yes you can set it up so a particular audio track is always present in the mutliclip.

open the clip into the viewer, choose the angle with the good audio.
it should have a blue and green outline

chose what is switchable in your multiclip:
from the middle pull-down menu at the top of the viewer, chose video.

switch to another angle, and the video only should switch.
that angle will have a blue outline, your preferred audio will have a green outline.

when it comes to your clip with good audio across different takes, you might have to plan it out a bit, or just use one angle for cutting, and then alternate after the fact.
