Katrin1980-
I learned a LOT from Tom Wolsky's book on FCPX for iMovie users (which I tech edited under protest, as he notes in the foreword. God bless him, I'll try to behave better next time.)
For all the good stuff going into FCPX, I still haven't been lured into it, I went back to Avid and forward to Premiere Pro CC. FCP7 lies under an older OSX boot volume for specific simpler assignments. I love classic tracks!
But I do subscribe to Lynda.com which has a raft of courses on FCPX. It's 25/month, cancel anytime. You get the runoff the library, which is thousands of software titles.
Here's a tip: Check with your local library! Lynda is available on many networks through a library eCard. I'm not sure if there are limitations but I'll be testing that shortly.
Best, as always.
