what is most stable version of OS for use with FCP7 Studio ?

what was the most stable OS to run FCP 7 studio with ?

ordered Lion disc and new FCP7 Studio discs -

I’m getting back into editing after many year break

tried several different editing software and nothing was as Nice
as FCP7 -

FCPX I don’t like at all but it does run good but UI was Ouch -
Apple finally killed FCP with last OS update -
forced me to go back redo system now -
it will be good to have Clean install and good running machine-

Dennis - glad people are still on LAFCP - this site was my daily morning read
for at least 5 years - miss it a lot -
do see some of the other people from forum on other sites I
have looked at lately -

One thing about running old FCP7 -
I know where to find the answers LAFCP
