i haven't had a chance to use it myself, but a user on the 'Cow says its working well for them.
i won't be changing my OS just yet, but it does give me more leeway with future hardware purchases.

Incredible. I love it when people do projects like this.

I think I might try that too. Perhaps it even works for Motion and Compressor as well.

Update: I've tried reinstalling my quite legal FCP3 Studio retail package (FCP7 plus cousin apps) on a replacement 12-core tower purchased from Florida company Reverb. Not bad! Running El Capitan.

But No Go!! Something prevents the DVD from installing. Some weird system ID I think is part of the problem. Retroactive may be a solution in getting old FCP projects to XML files for transfer to Premiere. I have Mojave running on the old 2013 cylinder.

Anyone with success story please share!
