FCP Long Form

<HTML>We are about to start shooting 130, 1 hour episode soap opera in Miami. My client wants Avid and I want FCP. We will be recording on digibeta and we want to work uncompressed. My client is afraid of being a guinnea pig but I believe FCP will be perfect for this project. How well does FCP handle large amounts of media, is there good storage available and how should I handle audio? Thank you.</HTML>

<HTML>You handle audio same way you always did. Use pro Tools. As for uncompressed and long form, you might look into Medea for storage and Aurora or Cinewave for capture. Cinewave can be a bit finnacky so it's a must to have a good tech here.

Post this over in the General Discussion forum at 2-pop and see what tips the folks can give you.
