QT 5.1 Extentions

<HTML>I noticed upon installing QT 5.1 that I now have a QT DV Firewire Enabler 2.3 extention (in the QuickTime Extensions Folder) in addition to a Firewire Enabler 2.3.3 in the system extentions folder. This was not so in QT 4.1. Is this QT DV Firewire Enabler extention necessary or just redundant?</HTML>

<HTML>No Gotta have it and it was there in 4.1 Firewire Enabler is installed by the OS and those FW ports you have wont work without it. QT DV Firewire enabler is part of the Quicktime and it allows you to capture and export DV via your Firewire cable.
