My timeline has dissapeared but my canvas window is still there. I have checked my settings and the timeline option is grayed out. Any suggestions as to how to get it back on the screen?
Trash your preferences and the POA file in Users/Library/Preferrences/Final Cut Pro User Data, then restart FCP. This resets FCP to facotry defaukts and is pretty much a cureall for this kind of thing.
