What does it fix, according to Apple?????

Knowing Apple's long history of this, it'll "fix" your ability to use FCP, in other words, it'll disable functions. Wait till someone posts an all clear before upgrading.

If it a'nt broke, don't fix it.

Apple really needs to have a pro app FAQ area, maybe even a discussion forum, on their support site. You'd think they'd want to make sure all their updates work with their own pro apps BEFORE they release them to the world.I still haven't tried FCP in Tiger, not sure what'll happen or if it's safe (FCP 4.5, DV only) yet.

Apple really needs to address the pro app problem, especially if they like us updating and buying more of their software.

True enough, but the FAQ doesn't cover QT issues, Tiger issues, etc. A quick scan of the posts shows it's a helpful place, for sure. But I'm talking about specific warnings for pro users of pro apps, that seems to be missing. Unless I'm missing it?
