(LONDON, UK - 8 November 2005) Digital Heaven
[
www.digital-heaven.co.uk] today announced the release of MovieLogger v1.0, an easy-to-use streamlined application for text-based logging of QuickTime movies.
MovieLogger integrates seamlessly into a Final Cut Pro workflow with
direct import of up to 16 QuickTime movies and the ability to export
logs as a Final Cut Pro XML file (logs are converted to clip markers)
or as Rich Text Format (for further editing or printing of logs).
"There are many logging applications on the market but they tend to
be complicated and offer too many options. We took the simple
approach - MovieLogger is designed to be so easy to use that anyone
can start logging within five minutes." - Martin Baker, Managing
Director
MovieLogger for Mac OS X is available immediately for download
purchase only from the Digital Heaven online store for US$99. A demo
version is also available which allows import of up to 3 movies and
creation of up to 5 logs per movie.
MovieLogger for Windows is currently in development and will feature
full project compatability with the Mac OS X version. Shipping date
will be announced at a later time.

ABOUT DIGITAL HEAVEN
Digital Heaven was founded in 2000 by ex-BBC Resources editor Martin
Baker. For almost six years we provided broadcast post production
facilities for clients such as the BBC, Channel Four and many
independent production companies. In Summer 2003 we became the first
London facility to make the switch from Avid editing systems to
Apple?s Final Cut Pro. At the same time we started software
development, releasing our first product, EDL Mirror in September
2003. Since then we have added 10 Final Cut Plug-ins and Multicam
Lite, the first multicamera editing solution for Final Cut Pro.
In October 2005 we released VideoSpace - a free widget for Mac OS X
Tiger which calculates the disk space required for a given duration and
codec setting. VideoSpace clocked up over 10,000 downloads in the
first month of release and was featured as a macworld.com ?Widget of
the Week? and as a staff favourite on Apple?s widget download page.
As we enter 2006 the company is concentrating all our efforts on
software products with many exciting applications currently in
development.
