Current TV announces $100,000 film contest

Hello,

I work with Current TV, which is the new television network where our
viewers create our content and decide what goes to air. We are now in
28 million homes!

I have a film contest that I thought you might be interested in. We've
partnered with the 3rd Millenium Foundation to have a call out for
short form pieces that promote tolerance. The deadline of this
contest is Aug 15th.

We have 4 confirmed celebrity judges: Paul Haggis, Margaret Cho,
Edward Norton and Melissa Etheridge.

The first place winner receives $100,000 with an additional $15k going
to the nonprofit organization of their choice.

Right now we are partnering with various film festivals and nonprofit
orgs who see the beautiful opportunity this is for their communities
to work toward a better world. Because the festival/org stands to win
$15,000, many are spreading our website and/or one sheet to their
communities to spread the word.
