Digital Heaven, one of the leading third party developers for Apple Pro Apps, today is pleased to announce the addition of a product directory and other enhancements to FinalCutters [www.finalcutters.com], a website for the Final Cut Pro community.

New Product Directory:
FinalCutters now features the first ever comprehensive directory of Final Cut Pro related products with over 900 software, hardware and system products from more than 250 companies. Product listings include a screenshot, useful links, description, tags, current version and pricing information. Registered users can write short reviews on products and give them a 1 to 5 star rating, as well as become a fan and add products to their user profile. New products and recent software updates are shown alongside the highest rated and most popular products.

"One of the major attractions of Final Cut Pro is the vibrant third-party ecosystem that has evolved over the past ten years. A wide range of developers from one-person shops to high-end broadcast manufacturers have created products that integrate with the core software to provide new capabilities. However, locating these products can be a challenge and many people are unaware that such solutions even exist. With the introduction of the FinalCutters product directory, we aim to make it easier for users to discover useful products and share their experiences with others." - Martin Baker, Managing Director, Digital Heaven Ltd.

Easier Sign In:
Another enhancement to the site is the option to sign in using an existing Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter, AOL or OpenID account through the adoption of RPX technology from JanRain Inc. This speeds up the account creation process and removes the need to remember yet another new username and password.

One-Stop Search:
Visitors to the site will find the enhanced search facility useful. It is now possible to search for products in the directory as well as view web and video results from Google. For added convenience, video results can be viewed in an embedded player without leaving the site.

News, Blogs, Tweets and More:
In addition to the new features, FinalCutters still offers visitors a constantly updated overview of what's happening in the world of Final Cut Pro, The home page presents the latest filtered product news, blog posts and Final Cut Pro related tweets from Twitter. One of the most popular features on the site is 'Rig of the Day' where users can showcase a photo of their Final Cut Pro set up.
