OT: EA SPORTS to sue South Park creators over Tiger Woods Episode...

Wow, all this is going to do is make EA look bad and probably cause EA to get skewered even worse in another episode. If Matt and Trey can fend off Scientologists they can fend off anyone.

Look at the stills on the link...they altered actual logos and imitation box art. Freedom of Speech and Parody is one thing...messing with a protected Top 10 Sports Brand logo...that's a legal issue. I thing South Park is gonna lose this one. They may hear from the PGA TOUR as well for messing with their logo (see second still on the link).

"In an update to a story posted last night EA Sports has contacted me in order to inform that they have no intention to sue over the South Park episode. The source of the story, Daily Informer, was inaccurate with the posting of the information or just flat out made it up."
