I cant believe there is no post about Production Premium CS5. This web cast is kinda long but you will love the overview of AE & PS.

Check out the new Masking Brush in AE and there is extrusion in PS. Plus PS can now create a custom mask in seconds. Scripts as metadata it is Mac Daddy cool.

Looks like some nice features. But seriously, that guy Jason needs to switch to decaf.

Jason is a great guy and totally run off his feet right now but he's a fantastic presenter - so much fun and in person has 1000% more energy than he shows in the video. Probably because his power output would destroy the electrical circuits in the recording equipment...

CS5 rocks I've been lucky enough to be on the pre-release team and now that the plugin manufacturers are releasing 64bit version of their products it will start to really use the power and memory of the MacPro range.

We produced the SuperMag with InDesign CS5 and I've been using Photoshop CS5's content aware fill an awful lot. Takes so much pain (but not all) out of photo-retouching.

Download it here: [supermeet.com]

AE CS5 is amazing too however I really need to get the 64bit Trapcode plugins from Red Giant Software before I can really test it on my old projects and see how much it screams!

PS: Jason's "lamb-chops" look even more impressive iRL!

Wow -- the roto tool alone will save hours and days of work - Apple - where are you? Avid - big updates - Adobe -- CS 5 -- Final Cut...a promise from S Jobs via email that the next update will be "awesome" Stop fighting with flash and give your FCP editors some love!

Yeah, Apple has a mountain to climb after seeing this. FCS4 has to be an intense upgrade. I still use FCS2 because FCS3 didn't seem to be meaty enough. Especially with Production Premium CS4 available on the same machine.

I think Apple has seriously neglected FCS and it will be really obvious now that CS5 is out. They need to merge Motion and Shake to get an AE equivalent. It has gotten to the point now that i prefer Finishing a look in AE after doing CC in Color.

I know Adobe and S Jobs do not have the best of relationships but he needs to take note of this.
