Hello all LACPUG Members,
I am new to the group but wanted to give you all an invitation to the new G-Technology Studio here in Hollywood. In February we’re going to be kicking off a monthly event series that we’re calling “Workflow Therapy”. The concept is pretty straightforward; bring together creative people, companies, and organizations for workshops intended to demystify, simplify, and improve workflow. These are casual, interactive, non-salesy workshops, with a focus on making the info practical and accessible (and FREE).
Our first Workflow Therapy Session is happening on Wednesday, February 6th, and is all about Apple’s new format, ProRes RAW. We’ll have folks from Apple, Atomos, Canon, and G-Tech on hand, plus a panel of end-users, to talk about the new format, what it’s all about, who it’s good for, and how to implement it in a workflow. We’d love to extend an invite to LACPUG and any of its members to attend.
