Music Video "Challenging The Times" shot on XL2 & eidted in FCP!

Hi guys,
I have a song that I wrote, sang & played drums on it.
I then made a video for it.
It is about the tough times we have to face today.
The story that when you're a kid, you get along with other kids and friends.
But as you get older, you become different individuals and you don't get along with each other.
So, we should learn to put our differences aside and get along with each other and face these toughest times.
the hourglass represents the "time".
towards the end of the video, you'll see the video playing in reverse.
Which simply represents the time being reversed.

- groovy color effects!
- nice use of dreamy whimsical effcts...
- good production on the music. but several parts of the vocal were flat.

only criticisms on the video from me are that there are way too many cheesey bouncy and flying clock elements and not enough emphasis on people. then again the sepecific lyrics might not speak about people - im just going on your original description.

ahhh, thats right! i thought you were a fellow houstonian. my office in in the heights on 20th street.

It is brilliantly directed, very good at creating tension and excitement, and artful. The performances are all very well done, and the special effects are remarkable. I'm utterly satisfied by what I saw, and I wouid see it again gladly.

I know from my own experiences in film that there are a million points during the lengthy process for a music video to go off the rails and flop. It can be 98% there and that final 2% can just turn it into a stinker. When a music video manages to succeed on most levels, deliver what it promises and provide an enjoyable escape from reality, it needs to be noted and applauded. This is such a music video. I didn't find a single thing about it that didn't work, that didn't contribute to the success of the whole. I understood the concept and I was very exhilarated by it, and I recommend it to audiences to buy this highly. Unfortunately I only speak English but because the visual went beyond with the music the message was delivered.
