Very Politically Incorrect.

Me and my flatmate who is also a director decided that since we have all the equipment
and actors available at a whim we may as well use it.

last sunday we shot and edited and graded this in 3 hours just for the hell of it.
Might make it a weekend thing...

Stupid but funny in my opinion.

Ah-ha...politically incorrect is your modus operandi, right? I remember the Japanese sushi thing.

Kinda saw the ending coming, but I like the fact that it was done in a single two-shot rather than the usual cut-up hyperactive thing. An Ernst Lubitsch thing.

Is it me, though, or is the Alabama accent not quite perfect? Aussie actors?

Then again, most Australian and English actors doing American accents beats the pants off American actors doing British accents. (Julia Roberts in Michael Collins, anybody?)

I wanted to see more of the story. It ended too quickly. LOL

There was no character development, no coverage. I wanted to see some close ups :-)

Just think if you had more than one weekend?

-You have got to be joking.

Just think if you had more than one weekend?

-Yes. I am thinking of shooting something every weekend just for fun.
Next weekend I am thinking of taking the HVX202 down to the Skate Ramp on Bondi beach where some of the best in the world are riding the bowl at the moment.

-Yes Wayne you are correct.

It is a bit tired and it is stupid.
I kinda like stupid somethimes however.
And I must say that it was very liberating just doing whatever I wanted to do and not worry about clients and brand guidelines and other annoying obstacles.

I guess it was mostly to prove a point of how quickly one can set up, shoot, capture and edit and then publish it on Youtube.
The whole thing took me only a few hours.
And as J.Corbett pointed out the actor is not half-bad which goes to show that acting is very important since production-wise this "ad" belongs in the toilet.
