I've just got Color w FCP. In the past have used MB editor and look suite to do white diffusion.
Can Color do this instead of using Magic Bullet?
And if so How?

Thanks

It probably can do exactly what you want. As for how, that's a big ask. You need to learn how to use the program to get to that, but here's a basic starter.

Put the clip/sequence of clips to be effected in a new timeline. Select the timeline and go to File > Send to > Color. You will be prompted to name a new Color project.

The clips will open in Color. By rights you should now go though and do your primary, secondary and so on correction. Then go to the Color FX room and use the nodes to get the effect you're after. I would think something like Blur and B&W going into an 'Add' node, then maybe some gamma - then output. Possibly you will need to clamp for broadcast safe if you haven't set this up in your preferences.

This stuff is still pretty much in the realm of tutorials-to-come.

Download my free G Blend plugin and use it's "screen" mode.
