There is one coming very soon from Ripple Training and Andrew Bailis of Moviola.

Ripple and Andrew did a really good FCP color correction DVD last year and they are going to hit Color head on, sometime in August.

John, if I'm in the process of getting FCS2 (currently 4.5) should I bother getting the color correction in FCP or should I just get the Color DVD from Ripple once it's out?

Just wanted to say thanks to Stuart and Noah for putting together such and in-depth resource for Color. I'd say this is the perfect primer for anyone who needs a little help learning their way around the interface. Starting with system setup, moving on to introducing the workflow, and finally closing the loop with FCS2, once I finished the DVD I couldn't wait to get started playing with and understanding more about what Color can do.

I highly recommend this to fellow FCS2 users.

Cheers!

The DVD tutorial that comes with FCS2 will get you up and running in less than hour if all you're looking for is the workflow and how to navigate about the various rooms. It won't teach you how to be a colorist, but if you're pretty decent w/ the 3-way CC in FCP it should be fairly intuitive for you. Also your primarys from the 3-way get imported into Color for you!!!
