Color clips appear as frozen still frames

Hi,

I'm grading a 4K R3D project in Color 1.5.2. I flattened my FCP timeline to a single track without filters/transitions/etc and conformed it to R3D at 4K then used "Send to Color". At first, the project opened fine in Color without any obvious problems.

However I'm now in the midst of doing colour correction in Color and some clips are playing/scrubbing on the Color timeline as freeze frames.

The freeze frame appears to be a frame from the correct media, but it is not playing as motion video. Also every instance of that media in the timeline appears as the same freeze frame.

If I relink the media for each clip, it appears and plays correctly.

What's causing this? And is there solution that doesn't involve manually relinking each clip individually?
