Testing DVD output from COmpressor prior to burning

Does anyone know how I can view and hear a DVD output from Compressor prior to burning a disk? I want to check it for sync. I've been having a problem when I use QMaster on this 100 minute feature - I sometimes get sync drift.

I've tried to view/hear in MPEG Streamclip, but I can't get any audio to play out of it (only video) and can't find anything in the Streamclip Prefs which allows me to hear sound. And Final Cut doesn't want to have anything to do with a files compressed for DVD.

Ideas much appreciated,

Harry.

Put it in DVD Studio Pro and hit "Simulate"?

Hmmm. I've never been able to get it to go fast forwards so that I could do spot checks. Is there some way?

Thanks for the suggestion.

Harry.

I really doubt that...

Another thing you could try is to take your .m2v and .ac3 files (output from Compressor) and use Toast to make a VIDEO_TS folder, which you can play in DVD Player. Or, do the same with DVD Studio Pro ( don't "burn to disc" ).

Is there a way to do fast forward in DVD Studio Pro? I thought there was not that option.

Not quite sure if this does what you want, but maybe it'll help:

If you scroll about halfway down the page you'll see the relevant bit.
