TOD to H264 file conversion Help

I am very new to FCP7 and in way over my head especially for the time I have left to do this volunteer project. The end result will be an hour long DVD for a school.

I have hours of video that's in H264 format that I am editing in FCP7. I also have been given hours of HD video that's in TOD file format that FCP7 will not import.

I would greatly appreciate if someone could suggest a converter that is under $50.00, fast and will do batch conversions. Last night I did a trial version of Aunsoft, but I have read that may not be a good choice even the video looked good after I converted. Thank you in advance!

I have been googling different versions of that. Result is various software companies that offer converters. I have have even tried "reviews of converters". I just don't know which one is better than another. Do you know of one that would meet my needs? Thank you.
