I think it's in Logic Pro but I have used some software where you highlight an area of a track and pulldown or raise the volume in the marked area, it adds four keyframes automatically for a dip/raise.

While I am on the topic of Logic Pro, how about, for the whole Apple pro line, i.e. anything with a timeline, a consistent timeline zoom and move method. Going between DVDSP, Soundtrack, Logic etc. every keystroke is slightly different for moving, scaling, as well as for moving from window to window.
