TC visible during Capture & ETT; Assign Audio Channels for Output

I would love to be able to see the time code from the deck in the capture window and the edit to tape window. Also would be nice to be able to assign channels for output so can choose to do audio only insert to tape, etc

both these things are, and have always been available in FCP

look to the top right of the L&C or ETT window for the tape's current TC.
in T window go to Editing mode, (top of window) then assign V or A channels bottom right (yellow buttons)
(this is not available if going to DV via FW)
