FCPX video clips suddenly moving to the bottom of the timeline upside down

Hello
I've been using FCPX for months and the other day. Normally all my video is on the timeline and above with audio below. Suddenly the other day I found certain video clips under the line. I have to move them above the line like normal. Anyone know what this would happen and how to stop it?
