Exporting a 1920x1080 sequence for DVD burning

OS 10.10.4
FCP ProX - 10.2.2

I've been editing from the 1920x1080 HD video.

How do I export it to burn to a DVD?

Which format should I output it to? Master Default?

I have an external drive to burn the DVD... any suggestions how to use it and not just burn with idvd?

You could use the built in function in FCPX. Keep in mind DVDs are Standard Definition though.
A ProRes Master would give you the best quality file if you're using an external DVD authoring solution. Keep in mind it's still going to have to be downscaled to Standard Def so you have to consider what program can do that best. You don't mention your workflow so it's hard to make suggestions.
