FCP-X record back to HDV deck?

FCP-X record back to HDV deck?

i have just switched from the former FCP to the FCPX and have no problem importing footage from my Sony HDV deck, however, when I want to record it back to the same deck I cannot find a method.

Your assistance would be most appreciated.

You can import from a deck but can't export. You can export a DVD or digital file only.

Will the digital file still be HDV having originally imported it as HDV?
