Should I announce that Sheffield Softworks intends to support FCP-X?

Of course that'll be once I learn what its API is...

We've made an announcement about our intention to support FCPX, simply because people are reluctant to buy the current version if its future is uncertain. Of course, these people are assuming that FCPX will be good enough to replace FCP7 in their daily use, which may not end up being the case.

My software:
Pro Maintenance Tools - Tools to keep Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro running smoothly and fix problems when they arise
Pro Media Tools - Edit QuickTime chapters and metadata, detect gamma shifts, edit markers, watch renders and more

hi all, im new to this interesting Group.
lost and confused the more i read about which NLE system to buy.
should i buy PCP Studio now or wait until relese of FCP X? will it contain the full studio?

FCPX is a single application, not the suite. There's no way we can tell you what you should do.

There was only one public showing. There's been a lot of speculation and guessing since. Anybody who knows any more cannot say.

My favorite question has to be talalsalem's typo, in which he asks if he should by PCP Studio now.

Don't your realize that PCP Studio is a gateway drug? We're still trying to figure out to what, though.
