I've only downloaded Motion so far but as large as that download was, I immediately was notified of an update -- which turned out to be templates and other media. This is genius on Apple's part. Not only does it mean they can easily upgrade FCPx without changing the associated templates and media, but it makes the initial download seem smaller. Total download time on a fast fiber connection for both parts was something on the neighborhood of 12-15 minutes.
