I've been a member of Izzy Video for several years and find his training video to be very helpful for non-professional video editing in addition to all the excellent tips and tricks I've learned from this FCP user group. Glad there is a new section for FXP X.
Izzy just posted a web-based FCP X Tutorial (Free!) with practice media at this this link. Worth looking at. The practice media ZIP file is quite large, but is really helpful when following the tutorial.
