Favorite Filters & Transitions

I thought I had read somewhere that you can create a favorite filter or transition containing your parameter changes in Motion 5 and then export them to FCP X. I may have heard wrong but can someone enlighten me. Thanks.

Yes you can. Here are some training videos from AppleMotion.net that will show you how.

Sure you can do it this way (and I like that you can create your on stuff with motion easily), but it will blow your listing of fx in FCPX and if you work with several users you always have to copy the favorites.
