Finally I understood a little bit more of FCPX

Within the the Transform menu you can do the x or y offset in px. Stupid as I am I thought px means pixel, didn't work. I searched Wikipedia which didn't help. Now I figured out what it means: it's an abbreviation for perxent, which is the Apple synonym for percent.
