Finally v1 of the Motion Template Tool is released.Posted by Andreas Kiel
The Motion Template Tool allows to install custom Motion Templates for FCPX in an easy way.
This tool is helpful for both developers and users. It provides a simple hassle free way to install custom templates, change some installation settings and make backups of the template installations.?Ä® One also can create disk images for backup and/or distribution. The Motion Template Tool is free of charge as long as you use it for distribution of free Motion Templates or for backup purposes. A donation though is appreciated. You freely can distribute or host the installer disk image for free Motion Templates as long the license agreement is supplied and the application is not modified. There is a minor update available.
It fixes some little bugs. Has a revised manual and a new feature which allows to check template availability for a current user using a project FCPXML. There is a new version available which makes use of the (limited) XML features of FCPX and allows a better share of projects with templates.

Found a small bug in v1.0.
If you want to install a title template that needs to go into the 'Build In/Out' folder (I'm fixing faults in some of the built-in templates), MTT can't deal with the '/' in the path, so puts the template into an 'Out' folder in a new 'Build In' folder in the 'Titles' section. Hi Alex,
That's a missing part in the manual. If you want to have folder named with a "/" the name you have to type ":" i.e. "Build In:Out" Andreas Some workflow tools for FCP [www.spherico.com] TitleExchange -- juggle titles within FCS, FCPX and many other apps. [www.spherico.com]
Alex,
I hope to have some more time this weekend to work on the next release. I've posted a rough manual for the upcoming version, may be you do have some ideas or suggestions.
