clip processing in the browser

In the Event Browser, one can select parts of clips and define them through keywords. They are then easy to select and drag to the timeline.
Is there any way to go further and prepare the clips (colour correct, fx) in the Event Browser, so that your modifications are not project based but clip based, and can be easily reused through different projects?

Create a compound clip in the events and make all your changes in the compound clip.

If you add your selections to a multicam clip and use the multicam clip in your projects, you can go back and change the effects - colour correct, effects, audio settings - in the multicam and the clip will update wherever it is used.

I've written this method up on my blog.
