Elements in Timeline Don't Snap to Alignment

FCP seemed to automatically snap clips and graphics to the same start points and end points automatically. FCPX just floats everything around with no intelligent matching. Is there a way to turn on snapping to match endpoints automatically?

Hello turn on snapping in the View menu

Pressing the N key still works as well or click the snapping button.
