I'm running FCPX on a new Mac Air and doing some keying for training videos. The Air is okay for limited numbers of tracks but consistently crashes when more than a few video and graphics tracks are used (when dragging clips and graphic around, FCPX just dies).
It may be time to buy a new machine. The last Mac Tower I bought was a white elephant (even though x86). Never again a noisy, clunky tower.
Probably will go with the 27" iMac solid state drive version, with maximum CPU and RAM and upgraded graphics chipset.
Any people with similar experience before I fork over $3000+ to Apple? Any iMac overheating issues? Etc?
