Will this Macbook Pro run FCP X?

I have an opportunity to buy a 17" Macbook Pro with the following set-up:
2.66hz duo core processer, 8 mg RAM, 320 GB hard drive, video cards: (it says Nvdia 9400M and Nvidia 9600GT).

My question is...will this computer run FCP X reasonably well? or is it going to be too sluggish? Thanks for your advice.

It will run it I believe but I would not look for serious use on a Core2Duo. I have a 15" MBP 2008 which is Core2Duo and it runs. I also have 15" MBP 2011 which is Quad i7. The difference is significant.
