FCP X stays black. A lenght of the video is shown, but no images. Can this be because of the upgrade of FCP X?

Importing what video how from what codec?

From the Canon XH A1s. It worked before via the FW connection. The file is HD.

So it's HDV from XH A1 using FCPX import feature from camera?
Just making sure you're talking about live input and not a file on disk.
