creating multicam clip

Hi

I am trying to create a new multicam clip for editing I have done this before with a different movie and had no issues

However every time I select the two clips it just puts them end to end on the same angle viewer
I cant seem to be able to work out what the issue is

It normally takes a little while to create the clip, but this is just doing it instantly but just sticking the two clips together end to end and I have no idea why it is doing this. The two audio feeds on the video both look a good match so don't think this is a problem.

If anyone has any idea what I might be doing wrong or what I need to do please let me know hope this all makes sense?

This can happen of the app thinks they came from the same camera. Make sure the cameras have unique angle numbers and camera names. If the cameras aren't running matching date/time stamps, make sure content created is not selected as a syncing option.

Hi Tom thanks for this makes a lot of sense

Now this leads me on to my next question, I use two sony HDV cams that are the same and I only use one to import the capture.
is there a way I can rename the files so it can tell they are different?
