Buying X, any reason for Motion, Compressor, Mountain Lion?
August 28, 2012 12:02AM
Am having lots of fun with the X trial and expect to buy X soon. Any opinions on import of buying Motion and Compressor, too? (Green screen in X seems much improved, can't think of another reason to use Motion, tho probably will purchase.)

Also considering updating Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion, a dirty install. Opinions, warnings? Would also like to keep FCS3 running.

Jus' curiously, what is the additional content downloadable for X? (Seems the Trial doesn't allow.)

Yea if you want to go in and make drastic changes to the Titles, Generators ECT... for $50.00 Motion 5 is a no Brainer.

Yes Motion is a "no brainer" even if you won't use it's composing tools for clips, you always can create or modify re-usable fx templates. It is a kind of your personal "fx factory".

as far as i understand FCS3 (FCP 7 and below) are either not compatible, or at best very rocky with anything newer than snow leopard.
