Hi,
I just got a Panasonic HC-X900 camera which records 1080/60p AVCHD video. Or so I thought. When I import clips into FCP X (10.0.7) and let it choose the settings based on the clip, it chooses 59.94fps instead of 60fps as the project's frame rate. Is that right? I edited everything at 59.94fps, and it plays back just fine, but I think I broke YouTube when I tried to upload it (12+ hours and still processing 12 min/1.7 GB clip.) YouTube warned me about not having the optimal encoding settings, but they didn't say what was wrong (and I didn't see a lot of options to choose the settings they recommend
here.
So basically,
Is my 1080/60p camera 60fps or 59.94fps and would the wrong fps setting in FCP cause it to take forever to process on YouTube? I did try File -> Share -> YouTube directly from FCP, but that doesn't seem to be working any faster.
Thanks for any help,
Joe
