The Most Universal Codecs

I'm working on a project where 50 filmmakers around the world are sending me clips that I'll edit together in FCPX. They're shooting with everything: camcorders, DSLRs, etc. I had asked people to send me footage in ProRes, but PC users are writing to say they can't. What would be the most ubiquitous codecs I should tell the filmmakers to send me? Thanks.
