Can you install fcp 7 and fcp x on same computer? How? Is there anything that may cause problems?

OK. no one answered my question, I know its a newbe uestion but I just don't want to load FCP 7 and have it erase my FCP 10. Any help? Anyone loaded FCP 7 on a computer with FCP 10 installed?

If you want to to it the official apple way you need to do it this way

Yes you can, but if you are using maverick check the apple web site.
You can't have both programs open at the same time.
